Pans are falling

Just wanted to give a quick update on things. I have not been writing in blog, but there was nothing to write about.

I skipped to go and game this weekend, I figured out while I am generally ok with the diet to work, I am not able to walk for hours or do anything physical for prolonged amount of time.

I will certainly however go and game this weekend, it’s been a 4 weeks now and I need to get back to game.

Instead I spent a lot of time playing online poker again (8.5 hours on Saturday lol), I also took some poker coaching to plug some leaks in my game and pretty happy about it.

The last thing, diet; It goes ok, in 3 weeks I dropped 12.5lb (5.5kg), I am currently trying to lose another 10lb (4.5kg), but I am out of the diet to eat normal food, but still going to limit amount of meals to once a day and see how things progressing. If I will see that I still losing at least 1.5-2lb a week I will keep it this way, if not I am going back to diet for another 2 weeks.

I am so sick of eating seafood 6 days a week, I have to get back to normal food lol

Diet: week one update

Before I go with my post, I just wanted to say that I added twitter to the blog, just look on the right side of subscription box; you can now follow this blog and some other things (me twitting while sarging) on twitter.

 

Let me start by saying I expected results to be better lol

Got on a scale today and measured loss of 4.5lb, sure it’s 2kg, but still not impressive at all, I wished to make it to the 7lb weekly.

I also seem to be overestimated how well I can perform with only one meal a day, on a weekday I seem to have absolutely no problem eating only once a day, but weekend is a tricky bit. I took some easy day on Saturday and had some sushi while going out on a somebody’s birthday, which was according to the plan, but I ate early in afternoon, and by 12 at night was really hungry, and ended up eating more before going to bed.

I definitely hope to have better results in the next week.

On a positive note I feel I am getting progressively better at bantering and talking, I finally after very long time got convinced that having stack of couple banter lines and stories to tell (stuff that you can practice in front of mirror lol) is a not such a bad idea and will soon start putting together some short stack for myself.

Some random news

Not much is happening lately in my life, and it is a bit of a routine right now.

Let’s start from the beginning and the most important news…

Last week was incredibly good for me, I got promoted at work. Basically what happened is that I used to be a contract employee, and once my contract is expired in end of March I was offered permanent position. And when I was thinking that things are good, my manager asked to see me, and started talking to me about raising my pay, I couldn’t believe to my ears.

It is pretty damn nice. I will have to move on eventually in another year or two to maximize my income and experience, but for now it is a perfect situation.

 

My diet is going ok, I kind of got tempted and scaled myself on the evening of the first day and saw loss of 2lb, which of course not saying much and could be just a loss of water. I managed not to get tempted since then and will scale myself on Sunday or Monday morning. In addition, I have go to birthday on a Saturday and from look of it will have to eat some food which should be ok because I planned to have a break days anyways, as long as I manage to make sure what I eat and what amount of calories I get.

So far with my diet, I seem to be more energetic than my usual self and so far had not even single problem to eat only one meal a day. But I have to admit, I have an unfair advantage here lol, I have many years of yoga practice and there was time when posting for couple of days (not eating at all) used to be a usual thing for me. Of course the last posting happened a very long time ago, but as they say old habits die hard, my body seems to be handling it without any stress whatsoever.

 

Third and last one, I am finally taking a break from sarging, and actually started since the last weekend. It is a second week now, and if not next week than following week maximum I will be back to the field. Meanwhile I keep improving and working on my verbal skills such as bantering and storytelling and some other stuff…

Diet plans, you are what you eat

Couple months ago I started my skin care and have seen good results and improvements, the plans is to keep doing it.

 

But, now it is time to take care of my weight, I am about 168 (5’6) tall and 73.5kg (161.7 lbs.), so not fat or anything, but certainly on a verge of stepping out of having normal weight, I have been having this same weight for long time, probably good 3 years now, but prior to this I always been slim guy, so I always felt like I am having a bit of way too much weight. I have been doing some research for while into dieting (yep I know I am geek lol) and mostly used book “The Rapid Fat Loss Handbook” by Lyle McDonald as my reference and main information tool. From all the research I gathered the guy seems to know what he is talking about and has a scientific approach to dieting.

So I finally decided to shred those couple kg I have and decided to go on protein diet for up to one month or until I lose 8kg whichever comes first.

I went to GNC today and checked to buy a vitamin supplements and to see if they have anything for weight loss to help me in my diet, the seller was really cool young guy and showed me around and explained few things about kind of products they have. Basically they have two types of products for weight loss for my specific situation, one is a package called “total lean weight loss system” and another one is just something to boost metabolism and make you heart pump stronger (and in conjunction of workout) will make you lose weight (the guy said it is actually best product for weight loss they have).  After thinking for a while I decided to go with the first and more relaxing package, given that the diet I am planning to take already extreme.

Coming back full circle

I am not going to write here about sets, but rather about other stuff that been on my mind lately.

The weekend was interesting. I spend a lot of time thinking about my game (something I did not do in a while). And came to some conclusions…

I think I don’t do enough approaches. Yes I go out twice a week and very consistent with it. But let’s look on some math.

I usually come to mall and spend like 2-3 hours and do about 5-6 approaches. Given that I don’t practice much of the target selection beside a girl looks, than in 5 approaches I do I always end up having at least one taken chick and one blow out, which leaves me with a 2-3 sets only per couple hours of sarging period.

Meaning, I spend in field for 4-6 hours weekly to only have 5-6 decent interaction; it is just not enough if I want to step up with my game during this summer period. It is true especially now, when my flirting and bantering skills finally come around.

Which brings me back to my original plans regarding a day game and what I would like to achieve, and it included 2 scenarios:

  1. If I am busy with the life, than being able to schedule time to hit field for couple of hours once a week and get 4-5 numbers and get dates out of this.
  2. To be able just meet women while running errands during the day.

I am ok with achieving any of them. Those two points seems to be a standard for a guys who been in game for a while.

Back when I was just learning approaching I was doing mass approaches to get good at it, and eventually I achieved it, now it is time work on bantering and flirting and playfulness and kino and other stuff, and for that I have to go back to basics and start approaching more girls again.
